Sales & Service Manager

Our swimmers are not only diving into great lessons, our team is also diving into great opportunities! At Goldfish Swim School, we care about teaching children to be safer in and around the water, while making their experience Golden. Sales and Service Managers responsible for ensuring the success of our swim lessons by training, managing and motivating a successful team, coordinating and reviewing class schedules and ensuring you have a school that’s set up for success at every lesson. You’ll guide new team members and families through their first days at Goldfish and be there to support them as they progress in our program and in life.
Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to:
- Must be a self starter and self disciplined
- Provide a positive staff culture from day 1 and offering open, honest communication in a positive and nurturing environment
- Build a team who provides the same quality work as you and doing quality work yourself by cross-training in multiple roles, working scheduled lessons as an Instructor or Desk Supervisor and representing Goldfish Swim School’s core values
- Do the right things, making the right decisions and treating people with integrity, compassion and trust
- Create a workplace that provides fundamental job and life skills for those looking to expand their careers
- Understand and lead the daily operations to ensure the school is running according to Goldfish Swim School’s standard operating procedures, working with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager
- Work with your team to develop and execute plans to achieve quarterly and annual enrollment goals and any subsequent goals intended to measure success
- Gain high level competency in the Goldfish Swim School curriculum and onboard, train and provide continuing feedback to your team of swim instructors, lifeguards and deck supervisors
- Schedule and lead training workshops and meetings to provide continuing education and reinforcement of best practices for your team of swim instructors, lifeguards and deck supervisors
- Create and implement a plan of action if quarterly and annual goals are off track
What else do you need to know?
- Everyone in our building is lifeguard CPR & AED certified, so you must be able to pass a basic swim test (50 yards) to earn your certification.
- All management team members will obtain their Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification
- You may be required to receive your Lifeguard Instructor (LGI) Certification through J Ellis & Associates and teach scheduled lifeguarding courses to certify new Goldfish Swim School employees
- You will direct and oversee the implementation of the Emergency Action Plan and all safety procedures for the school
- We require schedule availability that includes some weekday evenings (until 8:30pm) and at least one weekend (Saturday or Sunday) shift per workweek.

The safety of our swimmers, parents, pool operator and team members is of the utmost importance. Our pools are disinfected by a Nexgen chlorination system and additionally filtrated through a UV system to provide the safest swimming environment. Our state-of-the-art ventilation system allows fresh air to continuously circulate into our building, further minimizing the spread of any airborne virus. Industry experts note that indoor pools are far superior at minimizing virus transmission than most indoor spaces.

Compensation: $22.00 per hour
